Our story
A San Francisco tow company that picks up the phone
We're Auto Express Towing & Recovery, based at 270 Napoleon St in San Francisco and open 24 hours a day, every day of the week. When you call, you reach a real dispatcher — and when the job is complicated, you may find the owner on site personally seeing it through.
Our drivers operate all over the SF Bay Area, handling everything from everyday tows and roadside lockouts to vehicle recovery, heavy equipment loading, and long-distance car transport. We work with corporate fleets and individual customers alike, and we treat both the same way: show up on time, communicate clearly, and get the job done.

What customers say
“After locking myself out of my car on a busy Friday night in San Francisco, one company tried and failed. So I tried Auto Express. The dispatcher was amazing. The driver came within 20 minutes and was in my car within 2 minutes. What a great experience! Highly recommend.”
“Highly recommend for professionalism, integrity, and simply human approach. Jeff (the owner) personally came and waited while we were dealing with police to recover our car out of a sticky situation with a scam body shop. Once resolved, a truck driver was immediately assigned for the tow.”
“I had my car delivered from Indiana to California. Craig was incredibly informative and helpful with answering my questions. My truck driver arrived on time at the pickup site and delivered earlier than I expected. I would highly recommend Auto Express Towing & Recovery for anyone looking for car transport services.”
